In short
Web app engineering is the design and development of custom, full-stack web applications with structured data, APIs, and production quality. Cantellis engineers web apps with React, typed server logic, and managed databases, accelerated by Lovable and Claude.
Our point of view
AI-assisted development has removed much of the boilerplate from building web applications. That is good news for budgets, but it moves the hard work rather than removing it. Data modelling, security policies, integration design, and performance still require judgment, and mistakes there are now made faster too.
We build web applications with a deliberately simple architecture: typed data, clear server boundaries, row-level security, and verified flows. Simple systems are easier to change, and the ability to change quickly is the real advantage of an AI-native team.
Every release is checked in a real browser, signed in, with realistic data before it is called done. That habit catches the issues that type checks and demos miss, and it is the difference between an app that impresses once and one that keeps working.
Critical signals
Your product has outgrown a marketing site
Spreadsheets or email run a core workflow
In-house engineers are fully booked
Past builds were hard to extend
The problem
We turn the underlying constraint into a focused body of work, rather than treating surface symptoms in isolation.
Your product needs more than a marketing site.
In-house engineering is at capacity.
Previous builds were fragile and hard to extend.
Common use cases
Multi-user products with accounts, subscriptions, and dashboards.
Apps that replace email chains and spreadsheets with structured processes.
Calculators, configurators, and reporting apps for customers.
What you get
How it runs
Design data model, roles, and integrations up front.
Ship features in short cycles you can review live.
Security rules, type checks, and end-to-end verification.
Deploy, monitor, and iterate based on usage.
Lovable and Claude
AI is the accelerator, not the product. One operator keeps strategy, build quality, and business context connected.
AI-assisted building removes boilerplate, so budget goes to features.
Claude reviews logic and security policies for gaps.
Every release is verified in a real browser before it is called done.
Expertise and outcomes

What we see go wrong
The data model shapes every feature. Getting it wrong is the most expensive rework.
Secrets and permissions belong on the server, always.
Without logs and monitoring, issues are found by customers first.
Build for the next year, not the next decade.
